Why I Didn't Review the 2016 April Fool's Update

2nd April 2016

This should be a fairly short article today.

The April Fool's update was a subject I was desperate to cover and I was planning to last night and the reason I couldn't is this: yesterday night, I came home from a three-day holiday I went on and I was meant to get home at around 7pm, giving me enough time to eat dinner, go on Minecraft, take some screenshots and then still have some time before bed to maybe write up the article. However, there were some serious hold-ups, so I didn't get home until 10:30, by which point I was exhausted, so therefore didn't get a chance to really do anything before getting to bed. I'm so sorry, and if any of you are aware of a way to get on it after April Fool's day, please email me to let me know so I can do it.

UPDATE: I've done it, don't worry. Post coming today.

Interview with Eda from Eda Gorilla Club

9th March 2016

I know this blog isn't strictly speaking to do with Minecraft, but I hope you guys enjoy it anyway. I have already mentioned Eda on this site and I may do more collaborations with him in the future.

CoFi: Hi Eda.

Eda: Hello.

CoFi: What exactly sparked your interest for gorillas?

Eda: When I was six, I adopted a gorilla from WWF and that kinda just got me interested.

CoFi: Cool. Do you think that other people should also adopt animals?

Eda: Yes, because it can help people understand how amazing animals actually are.

CoFi: Have you ever adopted any other animals?

Eda: No, I only like gorillas.

CoFi: Okay then, thanks for your time.

That is the end of today's interview with Eda. If you would like to see his interview with me, then go here: http://gutsygorilla56.wix.com/edagorilla#!blog/xgtbu

If you want to see more collabs with Eda, please comment in the Top Tens section.

When your Brother Kills You in Minecraft

2nd March 2016

Picture this: you're in your beautiful world, 40 xp levels under your belt, 'If only this world was all mine - if only it wasn't a shared world,' you think.

This happened on a world I share with my brother, so he was playing on it, as he has the right to do so, when he stupidly changed the difficulty from peaceful to easy, with nothing in his hotbar or inventory. I know some of you may be frequent hardcore players, but this is on the world we dedicate mainly to building, redstone and mining. As it was already dark, I shouted to him,

"Get a sword out silly!' Despite it mainly being a peaceful world, we have had to kill some blazes and the like for brewing and stuff, so we did own a diamond sword. Reluctantly, he walked into the house, opened the chest and got it out, all whilst claiming he was a 'fist-puncher' and 'didn't need it.'

Pretty soon, he managed to get his health down to just half a heart, with mobs still attacking him; by this point, I was screaming at him, telling him to change back to peaceful mode before he lost all of our hard-earned experience. Obviously, he didn't listen (if he did, I probably wouldn't be writing this blog). And so we died - or rather he died - and we lost the 40 levels of experience. Luckily, because he was so close to spawn, we got our unbreaking and bane of arthropods diamond sword back, but that didn't stop me from being angry with him.

In the comments box, write me the most annoying way you've died in Minecraft and you may even be featured.
