about me

My Name is Stacey Perron! I grew up in Davis CA. God capture my heart when I was 13 years old and I have been following him ever since! After attending youth group during 5th and 6th grade I decided that I wanted to become serious about following God. From 7th grade till I graduated High School, I would bike to my church every Sunday to grow and learn more about God.

It was when I was 15 that God gave me the calling into full time ministry. After teaching a lesson on the book of Nehemiah to a group of students I knew God wanted me to dedicated my life to teaching His word to youth.

After High School, I attended Biola University and graduated May of 2016 with a degree in Christian Ministries and a minor in Biblical Studies.

Since graduating university, I have been serving in the North East of England. I work with Youth for Christ in a local church where I am a local youth worker. I have been here since September of 2016 and it is truly amazing to see how the Lord is moving and working.

Why England?

September of 2015 I was sitting in a small Mexican restaurant with my supervisor for my internship and my professor. My professor turned to me in the middle of our meal and asked me, "Stacey what ministry do you want to do?"

Saying goodbyes is one of the most difficult things we have to endure as humans. Since the beginning of August I feel like all I do is say goodbye to people.

Living on the other side of the pond

Family, friends and possible fans. I have been living in England for two weeks.

HOLY MOLY, I can't believe it

It is hard to believe that I have been in England for one month! Part of me feels like I have only been here for an hour. But the other part of me is starting to see this place become my home.

Do What you love

Well I have officially been in England for over two months now. It is safe to say that I have lost my California tan and I am starting to mentally prepare for the cold days ahead. The more time I spend here in England the more and more thankful I am that God has brought me here.

'Tis the season

It is that time of year again where we listen to some of our favorite Christmas tunes, set up the Christmas tree and slightly stress over presents. For me this season I have really been able to reflect why were celebrate this season and why it is a time filled with so much joy.

Family, Friends & Fans. First, I would like to apolgize for not updating you sooner about how everything is going here in England. I hope you will forgive me and contnue to read my blog and pray for me and support me and love me and everything else inbetween.

I can't believe the month of April has already ended and May has begun. April was both busy and restful. You may be asking, "how can that be?" Well, I will explain it a little more if you continue reading.

home for summer holiday

Well, I am hope back in Califorina for the summer holiday. It took about 36 hours to get back to the best coast in the U.S, I still don't have my luggage and have been wearing my pink shorts for three days in a row... But GOD IS STILL GOOD!!!

I wanted to updated everyone what the past month has looked like for me since being home and what I am looking forward to this second year in England.

going Above & beyond

Wow wow wow! I have been back in England for about two weeks now! Since coming home I have been able to see so many people I love and haved missed! (And yes I have been to Mint Hobo, my favourite coffee shop, at least a thousand times.)

overwhelmed by god's goodness

I have been back in Teeside for just about two months & I am overwhelmed with all that God is doing and His goodness. There are so many amazing things to share about all that God is doing and I probably could talk your ear off for days about it all. But instead here a few highlights from the month of October.

The month of Novemeber has been filled with so much joy and blessings. Just like the previous month, I have been able to experience the goodness and faithfulness of God. It is hard to really put into words the way I am feeling about all the Lord is doing and has done this past month.

The other day I was sitting down talking with some of my students from Lighthouse when another student came up to say something than ran away to go play a game. One of the girls sitting with me turned and said, "That boy is named Cameron." To which I replied, "I know."

trust in the lord

These past few months of life and ministry have been overwhelmed with goodness and craziness. (Isn't it funny how those two things go together?) But let me share some highlights from my past few months and all the Lord is doing.

It has been a great month here in England and I have loads of important updates to share! This past month has been one full of decision, laughter, tears and sunshine! (There has even been enoughs un for me to get a sandal tan!!)
