There are some fantastic ensembles I composed for musical instruments at the medieval times in Europe and modern insturuments such as glass harmonica, wind machine etc.

Some of them are written in counterpoint.

Walpurgis Illusion

Cats' eyes are leading to the Walpurgis night. I feel that it is so, thinking of the mysterious and somehow joyful witches' Sabbath. It's an original fantasy in the style of 4-voice fughetta and played by an ensemble of the four instruments of vielle, viola da gamba, virginal and tenor recorder. Vielle is a medieval ancestor of the viol family and the violin family.

On the styx

Requiem for celesta, glass harmonica, alto flute and wind machine.

Wind Illusion

It's an original fantasy and played on the medieval ensemble consisting of a gemshorn, 3 recorders, viola da gamba, lute and psaltery.

Nightmare Illusion

It's an original fantasy for an instrumental duet with a viola and a cello.

Maybe this combination is not that common.

The gleam of hope

This work is 4-voice fugue for string ensembles.

Goemon Illusion

Goemon Illusion is one of my original character piece.
Goemon was a bandit who lived during medieval period in Japan.
He is publicly acknowledged as a legendary thief.
