When all that we've been accustomed to in our sweet spot in the universe, when all we've taken for granted from our many thousands of years of climate-stability, when that stability is gone and instead there's a new normal that's touch and go, unsettled, unresolved, unsure, unknown, questions happen.

In Solarpunk Symphony groups of pianists gather in different types of locations to perform on all types of pianos from concert pianos to found pianos ready to be discarded. The pianists and audiences share how the necessary adaptation can be embraced.

Solarpunk is an arts movement that envisions a sustainable future interconnected with nature and community. It produces works to help with imaging futures in which to thrive.

The challenge of arranging multiple piano performance is symbolic of the challenge to fully face the changed environment we're presently entering.

Using music, and its power to shift emotion, to augment engagement with adaptation is one step along the road.
