RAF Jets have carried out their second strike in Syria after MP's called for military action against the group which calls itself Islamic State. MPs backed UK action after 397 votes to 223, after a 10-hour debate on Wednesday.

The Forth Road Bridge, which is the most direct route between Fife and Edinburgh, has closed and won't be open again until New Year. This has happened after a fault was found in the steelwork of the tower at the North end of the Bridge.

Samsung has agreed to pay Apple $548m (£362m) which is part of a deal to settle a forever lasting dispute. One of the parts in this dispute was that Samsung used Apple's "Pinch to zoom" feature although this was later to be found invalid.

Sir Richard Branson is modifying his old Virgin Atlantic 747-400 jumbos to run the service of space. The jet will be used to launch a satellite rocket into space, which is being created by the Virgin Galactic sector.

Former creative director Alan Yentob has quit his role in the wake of controversy over is role as chairman of the Kids Company charity. He earned a £183,000 as creative director. He also received a separate fee for "Imagine".

Facebook has begun to start a new feature on it's platform which allows it's users to stream live video. It will display the number of live viewers, names of friends who are watching and live comments. The service will only be avaliable to a small percent in the US and will be limited to iPhones for now.
