“Kapsowar Hospital has received state-of-the-art endoscopy
equipment as well as a C-arm to provide immediate imaging capabilities during
orthopedic procedures. This equipment not only advances our abilities to
meet the surgical needs of the poor but is also a
huge affirmation to our staff that we are not alone in the continued
care of patients in this small corner of the world.”
Along with the surgical equipment, AMHF installed a back-up power system to protect the theater. We also sponsor surgical care for poor patients in collaboration with Watsi.org and The Pointe Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
